Refund Policy

We want you to pay only for a tool that genuinely earns its place in your menu bar. That’s why every plan starts free — and why we back purchases with a fair refund window.

01 Try before you buy

Every plan begins with a 30-day free trial. No payment is taken to start it, so you can run the app against your real parallel workflow before deciding. If it isn’t for you, simply let the trial lapse — you won’t be charged.

02 14-day money-back guarantee

If you paid for a plan and aren’t satisfied, you may request a full refund within 14 days of the charge. This applies to first-time Monthly, Yearly, and Lifetime purchases. We don’t require a reason, though feedback helps us improve.

03 Subscriptions

You can cancel anytime. Your subscription stays active until the end of the current paid period and then stops renewing.
Cancelling stops future charges; it does not by itself refund the current period. If you were charged in error or within the 14-day window, contact us for a refund.
Renewal charges after the first period are generally non-refundable beyond the guarantee window, since you can cancel at any time to prevent the next renewal.

04 Lifetime purchases

The one-time Lifetime purchase is covered by the same 14-day money-back guarantee. After that window it is considered final, as you retain the software permanently.

05 How to request a refund

Because Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all purchases, refunds are issued through Paddle:

Email support@parallelbutler.app with the email used at checkout or your Paddle order/receipt number, and we’ll process it.
You can also use the receipt Paddle emailed you, which links to Paddle’s buyer support.

Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method. Timing depends on your bank or card issuer, typically within a few business days.

06 Exceptions

We may decline refunds in cases of clear abuse — for example, repeated buy-and-refund cycles, or requests well outside the guarantee window. Statutory rights that apply in your jurisdiction are unaffected by this policy.

Bottom line Free for 30 days, full refund within 14 days of any charge, cancel a subscription whenever you like. If something feels wrong, email us — we’d rather make it right.
